Tuesday, June 4th

Snake River Fest 2024 Kick Off Party!

Kickoff Party and Whitewater Films at the Stillwest Taproom

Join us at the Stillwest Taproom starting at 5pm for a kick off party to mingle with the Snake River Fund, JH Kayak Club, and fellow river enthusiasts, while discovering other exciting festival offerings and embracing the spirit of Snake River Fest! We’ll be screening select films from the National Paddling Film Festival!

Wednesday, June 5th

Westbank Anglers Fly Shop Night

For the fly fishing enthusiast...

From 5-7 PM at their shop on Moose-Wilson Rd, join Westbank Anglers for cold beverages and learn about their favorite flies and tactics for local waters. 50% off flies for all attendees!

Rendezvous River Sports: Guide Night

For the whitewater guides...

If you’re a river guide or whitewater enthusiast, head on over to Rendezvous River Sports from 6:30 – 8:30pm for a shop cookout and gear sale!  Snag all your guide essentials and connect with fellow paddlers right in town at 945 W Broadway!

Thursday, June 6th

Friends Float

An on-water event for anybody and everybody!

Grab your raft, SUP, kayak, or canoe to Join the friends of Snake River Fund and JH Kayak Club for an afternoon float down a class I/II stretch of the Snake River. We’ll be pushing off from South Park at 4pm sharp!

Following the Float, we have reserved the Astoria Park Conservancy pools from 6pm to 8pm, which will be available for all  Friends Float participants. While you can certainly set your own shuttle, we’ll have shuttles, along with boat trailers, available to bring participants back to South Park either at 6pm following the float, or 8:15pm, following our soak session.

Friday, June 7th

Big Race on the Hoback

The most popular festival competition!

Whether you’re in a long race boat or on a stand-up paddleboard, we’ve got a division for you to compete in! This friendly competition will bring your down a 4 mile stretch of the Wild and Scenic Hoback River (class II/III).  Registration required!

Please plan on arriving at the Gilcrease Property no later than 6:00PM Races begin at 6:30PM sharp!

After the race, enjoy food, refreshments, live music from Boot Juice, and more! Feel free to car camp on-site and enjoy the party. You can pre-pay for camping HERE!

Saturday, June 8th

Festival Village

The Big Festival Finale - 3pm to Sundown at Jackson Hole Land Trust's R Park

Join us, along with all of our local partners, in celebrating the joy we all find in river time. This year, we’ll be hosting the big finale with the help of our friends at JH Land Trust over at Rendezvous Park! Food trucks, beer tent, live music, interactive booths, youth programs and more!  We’ll be hearing live music from the Balsamroots Band and the Deadlocks! 3pm to Sundown.

Greys Boater X

EXPERTS ONLY!

The most intense competition of the festival! Competitors race down the legendary class IV stretch of the Greys River, including Snaggletooth Rapid. Stay tuned for race details! Registration required!
