Wednesday, June 5th

Westbank Anglers: Local Fly Shop Night

For the fly fishing enthusiast...

From 5-7 PM at their shop on Moose-Wilson Rd, join Westbank Anglers for cold beverages and learn about their favorite flies and tactics for local waters. 50% off flies for all attendees!

Rendezvous River Sports: Guide Night

For the whitewater guides...

If you’re a river guide or whitewater enthusiast, head on over to Rendezvous River Sports from 5 – 7pm for a shop cookout and gear sale!  Snag all your guide essentials and connect with fellow paddlers right in town at 945 W Broadway!

Thursday, June 6th

Friends Float

An on-water event for anybody and everybody!

Grab your raft, SUP, kayak, or canoe to Join the friends of Snake River Fund and JH Kayak Club for an afternoon float down a class I/II stretch of the Snake River. With so many naturalists and river stewards in our community, your bound to learn something new and make a new friend!  We also will have limited space in SRF-guided rafts! Registration is free and forthcoming!

Friday, June 7th

Big Race on the Hoback

The most popular festival competition!

Whether you’re in a long race boat or on a stand-up paddleboad, we’ve got a division for you to compete in! This friendly competition will bring your down a 4 mile stretch of the Wild and Scenic Hoback River (class II/III).   Registration forthcoming!

Races begin at 6:30pm sharp!

Hoback Hoedown Award Ceremony and After Party!

After the race, enjoy food, refreshments, live music from Boot Juice, and more! Feel free to car camp on-site and enjoy the party.

Saturday, June 8th

Festival Village

The Big Festival Finale - 2pm to Sundown at Jackson Hole Land Trust's R Park

Join us, along with all of our local partners, in celebrating the joy we all find in river time. This year, we’ll be hosting the big finale with the help of our friends at JH Land Trust over at R Park! Food trucks, beer tent, live music, interactive booths, youth programs and more!  We’ll be hearing live music from the Balsamroots Band and the Deadlocks!

Greys Boater X

EXPERTS ONLY!

The most intense competition of the festival! Competitors race down the legendary class IV stretch of the Greys River, including Snaggletooth Rapid. Stay tuned for race details!
